| I have model# 139 53975srit1 key pad# 031 d0431 iti >pc< 3 and would like to know if it's possible to reprogram my opener. I have a couple of folks I no longer wish to enter my home and need help with this. any advice would be grateful. |

| If you want to change the code for your keypad you just need to press and immediately release the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit. Near where all those white wires go. Then walk over to the keypad and enter a new 4 digit number and press enter. Should do it for you. |

| If you hold that button in it will erase the codes and your remotes will not work. Press and immediately release is the key here. |

| Press and hold the button on your remote and then press and release the smart/learn button. Do this for each remote you have. Do not hold the smart/learn button in or it will erase the codes again. Now follow the instructions I gave your earlier to change the code on your keypad. They are above. |
