| My opener is about 12 years old, it goes up but the limit doesn't stop it. I tried the adjustment but it didn't help. When I took off the chain it just keeps running forever. How do I check the limits? |

| Your best bet is to take off the cover and you will see the limit switch assembly. Sounds like something is broken or badly adjusted. |
