I'd gearing up to purchase a pre built shed that looks like this

The shed will be 12'x20'
I'd like to extend the roofline to create a carport, like so

Here's the lay of the land w/ the Shed and carport staked out

I'm looking for any advice on how to tackle this. The shed is not ordered yet so I may have the ability to have them customize the building to better allow for a seamless addition later.

Any tips/ideas are appreciated.
