Chamberlain 398LM Problem

The Smart Control panel on my Chamberlain garage door is a major problem for me. The light continues to go on. Even the Clock goes to default all the time. In four years I've replaced 20 light bulbs and two 398lm control Panel. This is a little bit out of hand. I called Chamberlain last week and they've tried to troubleshoot it. It doesn't seem to be the control board because it doesn't happen when I disconnect the Smart Control Panel. I just rewired the SCP and again its starting again. I'm waiting for Chamberlain to contact me on what to do next. Has this happened to anyone before. Chamberlain tech Chris says he hasn't heard of this before. This is the worst garage door opener I've ever had. Do you suppose they'll reinburse me for the 20 light bulbs? NOT !!!!
