crafts man garage door opener won't go down at all

hey guys, really need help with this one. A friend of mind trying to figure out why her door goes up but not down. I went and tried to help her but didn't help much. I try all the nobs on the back and try to turn it slightly and continue doing so and it still wasn't going down. it make the noise that the motor whats to work but nothing is happening. Does this means that the motor is lock on one direction which is up only?..

Check to see if the trolley is jammed against the bolt just in front of the motor housing. If so, remove the bolt and then turn the 'up limit' on the side of the motor housing a couple turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Be sure to replace the bolt.

The problem could be as simple as adjusting the safety sensors. They are located on both sides of the door track about 6 inches off the ground. The safety sensors have to point directly at eachother or the door reverses.
