| Just trying to figure out what is wrong with my garage door. Every now and then it won't respond to the remote or the switch inside. In order to get it to work, I flip the circuit that it is on and then it will work. I have already used silicon spray to try and solve the problem, but that didn't work.
What needs to be done to fix this? |

| Your problem is not common at all. I suspect you have a bad circuit breaker or too many items on the same breaker. Most likely you entire garage is on the same breaker. Try unplugging some items. |

| Well when the garage isn't working, everything else on the circuit seems to work fine (lights in the garage). There is one outlet in the garage that isn't a part of that circuit so if it still give me trouble then I guess I have to assume it is the garage and not the breaker. In that case, does anyone know about what could be wrong with the garage? When it doesn't work, all I do is flip the breaker that it is on and it works again for a short period of time. |
