Self leveling concrete

I want to repair a garage floor and put on an epoxy or paint. The floor has several spots that are cracked and it looks like salt may have had something to do with it. The damage is mostly right where the cars park. As far as I can tell, it has never been sealed. Can I clean the surface, use a etching compound and put some type of self leveling filler over the top to fill in the voids?

You could do that. If it's not a large area, I think I'd go with top and bond. You'd have to prep it pretty much the same as a leveler but I think it would be a little less expensive since you'll be sealing it anyhow.
