| My Duralift garage door opener remote is not working anymore and I want to recode it using an universal garage door remote (the clicker) however my old one doesn't have the specific codes. Does anyone know how I would code this? or do I have to end up buying a whole new garage door opener. The opener works fine! |

| Check Ebay. If not, the best thing to do is to go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a "universal" Transmitter/receiver kit. Both stores sell them. Lowes has a set that is $29.00 that has 1 remote control. Home Depot has a Genie double set with receiver for about $59.00. That is the easiest thing to do. If you can wire a speaker from a stereo, you can do this. Dan |
