Hi all,

We are at the rough in stage of a home addition, including a garage extension. We want to have some nice lighting in the garage as it is the entrance the family takes into the house (adults via car, kids walking home from school and entering man door). The architect has on the plan to have a few bulb fixtures. However, I assume if we go for fixtures or pots we would have better light. If we do fixtures are there any aesthetically suitable for a garage (don't want it to look like kitchen lighting)? Or are we better to do insulated pots. We live in Ontario Canada so there is plenty of winter which I believe limits our option on florescent lights -- although I don't know for sure. Our garage is not heated.
