I thought I had posted this message yesterday but now I can't find it anywhere so I assume I didn't do it right. Here goes again. I have a 1/2 HP Craftsman Opener that was installed by the previous owner when my house was built in 1985. He didn't leave me an owner's manual and I can't find a model number anywhere on the unit. Two days ago it stopped responding to the remote. It works fine with the hard-wired wall unit. I got a new remote, transferred the code switch settings from the old remote, verified them with the unit itself - still no response. So, I assume the problem is with the receiving module on the unit. I can't get anywhere with Sears without a model number. Any suggestions?
