| dad has 24x26 garage. 2x4 walls. r-11 insulation in walls and ceiling and fully sheet rocked. 2-2x3' windows. insulated door. hanging gas furnace runs once per hour for 10min or so. keep garage at 58-60F. built in 1980? i work in garage a lot and am always surprised at how little the furnace runs. does that seem average? |

| Hello Joe from Mn., If my heater only ran once per hour and kept the garage at 60 degrees, I would be ecstatic! You have no need for concerns,if you think it should run more frequently turn the thermostat up. Have a great day. |
