How long before you can use a concrete driveway?

I know this will vary based on all sorts of factors, but is there a general guideline on how long it takes a newly poured driveway to cure enough to drive over (but not park on)?

The internet has widely varying answers so I thought I'd ask the internet. :P

The driveway will be 6" deep curing in nice spring weather (daily highs mid 60s, lows in the low 50s). My vehicles range from 3600 lbs to 9000 lbs.

I will certainly follow the installer's instructions, but I want an idea before I start of what I'm getting myself into. Thanks!

At least a week.
For mine, I covered with plastic sheeting, topped that with sheets of scrap paperboard about 1/8 thick and weighted with bricks to keep the wind from blowing it away. Left it for 6 weeks since time for that was available.

" Left it for 6 weeks since time for that was available. "

Anything past 30 days is really overkill.

Thanks. I'm hoping I can at least drive over it with the lighter vehicles after a week to stick them in the garage but perhaps will plan on finding alternative parking for the truck. :)
