Craftsman Model 139.53930D

I have this model installed and working. Only problem is I can't program the controller in my car to operate the door. I have very carefully tried to follow the instructions that came with it. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

For the record, I have a second rolling code Craftsman door opener that I control with the button in the car.

There have been several complaints of these newer openers and older remotes and car controllers not working. No one has ever come back with a reason. I suspect the frequency has been changed but I cannot verify it. You can try calling the manufacturer Chamberlain at 800-528-5880 but I don't know if they will help. If they do would you please post back their answer? Thanks.

The newer black buttons work with late-model homelink.
Follow the extra steps for rolling code.

I hav ento tried to do a car with 390 and 315 on same homelink. ask homelink if they hav ethe capability.
