Sears Craftsman garage door won't close w/remote

I can open my door with car remote but it won't close it. When I try to close the door the light starts blinking. I can close door with wall unit by holding the button down continually. I don't see any Led lights on my sensors. I do live in Alaska cold weather like I have been reading about on this forum. How can I fix my sensors LED lights to be on and close my door with my car remote.

Rhonda anytime you try to close the door and the lights flash 10 times and the door reverses to the open position you have a problem with the sensors in the doorway or the wiring to them. Each sensor has a small light that must be on to work. If neither of your sensors has the light on you either have a wiring problem or bad sensors. If the light on one is on and the other is off you should be able to tweak them a bit so that they are pointed directly at one another and both lights should come on.

THANKS!!! We were having the same problem and this worked! Saved a service call to fix something so simple.
