Chamberlain 41A4252-7A problem

Ihave a Chamberlain 41A4252-7A (Model 4100) that will not open or close with wall button or remote. The light in wall button, sensors and light bulb do not light either. Left it unplugged for several days and when I plugged it in the lights all came on. Hit the wall button and it tried for a split second and all lights went out again. Pressing the green button for six to ten seconds did nothing. None of the lights came back on. Do we think its the board? If so are there schematics available for this board there is not much on it to repair.

Sounds like you may have a shorted wall control or the wiring going to it. I would disconnect them and see if your problems goes away.

Had a short but not the wall control. Took a magnifing glass and noticed the solder on one leg of the transformer was cracked, added a touch of solder to it and it works fine now! This is a 1994 unit and all those years of use must of cracked it.
