| Hi all,
I am looking for suggestions on how to apply a wood veneer or paneling to a flat metal/insulated 2 garage door. I plan on converting a flat garage door to a carriage type raise panel type. Is there just a bonding agent, glue or epoxy that will allow wood to adhere to metal? Should I supplement this with mechanical fasteners? Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

| I don't know about the adhesive but you want to watch the weight. The springs on your door were designed for the weight of your door. If you exceed this by too much you are going to have problems especially if you have a door opener. Only a really good door technician can help you then. |
