Keypad Problem with Craftsman Garage Door Opener

I installed a new Craftsman 139.53985D garage door opener. Everything works great except for the 3 button keypad. The open/close button works fine. But the other two buttons, lights and lock buttons, act just like the open/close button. I've double check the wiring and everything seems to be in order. Any help with my problem would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds to me like you have a bad wall control. Check with Sears about your warranty. They may just mail you a new control. I would try to get a free service call if possible.
