| The key to a good paint job is in the prep. Make sure the doors are clean and free of rust. Get a good primer followed by two coats of a good quality paint. |

| Thanks, Mike Actually the doors are new, haven't been delivered and are white. I wanted a "barn door" looking garage door and the only reasonably-priced steel door came only in white. I saw a similar door painted to look like wood; hoping I can get the same look. |
