Please disregard previous cry for help. I've solved the problem of getting the remote prgrammed. Apparently the instructions on my opener unit are misleading. I found a Sear's help number 800 528 5236 that gave me clear instructions on how to program the unit. My unit said to hold both the TX button and RX button till the lightbulb blinked--but it never would. The help line told me to press the red receiver button and release when the LED was steady. Then within 30 seconds press the remote TX button and hold till the light bulb flashed. It worked much better that way and I am back in business. Thanks for listening. Dalila
