| We are in the process of building a new home. The dining area is on 9x10 in a bay window area. I originally wanted a round table that seats 6. However, during the building stage it was discovered that there had to be a load bearing beam put directly in the center of this very small room. The lighting of this room then became a nightmare that I agonized over for months. I finally settle for 2 pendant uplights in this room which I don't think will look right over a round table. I have a large family so I need a table that seats 6. Will a rectangle table look right in such a small space? Thanks for any help! |

| Misty, for small spaces I usually recommend a table with an extension or drop leaf. The butterfly option is especially nifty. Are you able to post a picture of the room? Use a site like photobucket to make it appear on this board. Congratulations on the new home and Merry Christmas. |
