Buy a vanity or refurbish a buffet

Hi everyone! I am trying to figure out what is more affordable - I have a very low budget - found a buffet on craigslist for $100 and want to put 2 sinks in and a countertop (not sure what material yet). I found a vanity for 1200 that I like that already has everything but the faucets...
What do you think? Can I have some suggestions for a low budget? Thanks!
