I never use a water based cleaner on good furniture...unless I know there is a spot on it that is only water soluable...like sugar or milk.
I use a carnauba based wax....and only wax about every 6 months....and then after a good base is established...maybe every 3 years.
Any of those "orange" cleaners will cloud the wax and you will have to remove it all with mineral spirits and start again.
Outside of that...a dry or very,very slightly damp cloth works for daily table top wiping.

We purchased the Pennsylvania House dining room table, chairs and, hutch recently. When they delivered the furniture, I was given a can of "The Original Bee's Wax." The furniture store highly recommends using this. I have never seen this in the store, but I am sure you could purchase it on-line. There is a phone number listed on the can 1-800-568-1413. The can also states: No fingerprints - no wax buildup ever - makes granite tops acid resistant, won't fingerprint stainless steel - prevents bathroom mirrors from fogging.

So many times I'll see an older piano that has that grayish look. I explain to the customers that this is simply wax build up and recommend Milsek's Furniture Polish to de-wax and then maintain the finish. Every customer that has followed my advice has been well pleased with the results.
