I think I will have looked at every sofa imaginable. I was looking online at some from Macy's. They said they had hardwood frames which sounds good, but didn't tell the manufacturer. I also was looking online at Catnappers made by Jackson company. They look good; has anyone had experience with those? The more I keep researching types the more confused I get.

Hardwood frames is a minimal specification. Any sofa costing more than $399 should have a hardwood frame. Find out more about the furniture before you commit.

Catnapper is one of the oldest manufacturing names of reclining chairs. They are a mid-priced line, roughly comparable in quality and price with Berkline, LaZBoy, Benchcraft, and several other large reclining furnture manufacturers. Catnapper moved their production facilities to China seven or eight years ago, and I am really not familiar with whether or not that has affected their overall quality level.
