Imgch, what type of budget are we working with?

I could have SWORN i replied to this, but it seems like my response was eaten.

Anyway, thank you for asking - re: budget, i think we could go up to around $5k, but would certainly be happy to spend less.

we also have young kids, so we need something durable and fabric that is tough/washable. but again, we do not want leather

MGBW slipcovered. Ours was more than that because we opted for down , but they have many things within your price point I believe

I am curious as to why you don't want leather. It last longer. It's more sanitary. No dustmites and a good quality leather does not look like or feel like plastic. I agree that a good upholstery option is slipcovered as the slipcovers are washable. (FYI poster above Taylor King is a good option if you do decide on a fully upholstered option)

Freethinker, we don't want leather because my husband is dead-set on wanting "soft" fabric. He doesn't want the coolness to the touch of leather.
