Conover brand

Does Conover brand exist anymore? I have been searching online, and I find some sites, but can't open the pictures.
I am wondering if the company stopped when Mrs. Conover died in 2004 or possibly before.

I know of this company - Conover Chair. Is this this same company? They have a pretty good site.

Hope this helps,

Catherine- I tried to call that site- the number does not work. I wonder if that was an 'old' site?

My email also came back- 'unable to deliver'.....

That is the style they made, though.

Did you try the dealer locator listed on the website? You might be able to find a dealer in your area.

RE: Conover brand

I believe they're out of business... I bought a chair a few years ago and went back to buy an ottoman to match and was told they went out of business.

RE: Conover brand

Confirming that they are out of business. We worked with them.

RE: Conover brand

I actually have to correct this since I just talked to the company a few minutes ago. This type of bad information is the ruin of many companies. Conover Chair is NOT out of business. They were bought by another family business but they have retained the original integrity of their pieces and good workmanship.

Unfortunately, the economy has been brutal to the furniture industry and there is no rep in our SE MI/NW Ohio area. But they ARE in business!
