Hi,
I am looking for a good leather furniture in a reasonable price range. Yesterday we saw 'Vice Versa Modular Tufted-Leather Living Room Furniture Collection'
at Macy's. It is manufactured by Chateau Da'x. Sale price is $3,700 for 6 pieces (3 armless chairs,2 square corners and Ottoman). The sales person said it is a new line from the maker and quality is excellent. I am not sure about her sales pitch.
I saw very good advices on this forum. Could you please tell me whether it is worth to put that much amount?
I saw some leather sofas are on Costco web site for reasonable price. Are they good quality?
Lot of friends are coming for christmas and I need to take decision immediatly. Please help!!!

$3700 seems to be very steep. I am sure you can find something cheaper if you look around hard enough. Here is a link for leather furniture from a store I recently bought from. Their quality and service is excellent. I can vouch for that. And as you can see on the link, the prices are much lower. This is one option. I guess you will be able to find many more such options.

$3700 seems to be very steep.

A true modular group means that every seat is a separate piece. 6 pieces for $3700 averages about $600 each. That's a GREAT price for modular seating.

Modular seating costs more, but, can be rearranged into many different lengths. So, when you move, you can rearrange the pieces to fit into a completely different room, saving you from having to replace otherwise good condition furniture.

Modular seating isn't for everyone, it has a certain "look" and you do pay more for its benefits. And Chateaux D'Ax, like any brand, isn't for everyone. Chateau D'Ax has been discussed many times in this forum, a simple search will give OP enough information to make a decision.
