How do I go about getting a kitchen table with quartz top?

Hello - We are towards the end of our kitchen remodel. We are thinking we would like to add a new kitchen table with the same quartz as our countertops. Tourquay by Cambria with a black pedestal base. I am hoping to avoid going through our kitchen designer due to price mark up. Where would you suggest I get the pedestal base? Then I can use the counter people to get the top cut. Thank you!

most pedestal table kits include just the legs and pedestal, and not the apron and base, so that would need to be built. Have you looked at lower end furniture stores, you may be able to buy the table, and remove the top to add the quartz top.

Does anyone know if a single pedestal table would withstand the weight of the stone?

What about getting a steel frame fabricated and mounted on lockable casters. Then you could roll it around and lock the casters when you don't want it to roll.
