Help finding a sofa

I need help to filling my living room with a new Sofa.
I live in the Seattle WA area and I've visited 10+ furniture stores (Crate and Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Macys, JC Penny, Dania Furniture, , Pottery Barn)

I am having a hard time finding "the right sofa".

I want something thats sofa but doesn't "SINK in" when I sit in. Pottery Barn seem to have good sofas (the "buchanan" sofa from them is a good fit). However, all their sofas are too traditional (roll arms and that style does not have the square arm I am looking for).

What advice can you guys give ? Shop online? Look around so more?

Suggestions welcome!

RE: Help finding a sofa

Keep on looking. You will eventually find what you like. I would however never buy something like a sofa, on line, without first getting to sit on it somewhere to try it out.

What about checking used furniture stores, and then if you find a well made sofa you like, you could then have it covered in the material of your choice.
