bedroom dresser- repurpose into amoir

We have a long dresser that we need to keep in the bedroom. 60 long by 16 depth. We keep are tv on top. We are thinking of building a hutch with doors to house a flat screen tv. we are going to join the two with great moldings. Has anyone tried this and if so Pics please.
