I was looking at the Kittery Point Bedroom Collection by Chatham Furniture at a local furniture store. This is the Chatham out of MA made by Mr. Kapela. They claimed it was their upper tier furniture along with Cresent furniture as it was made out of all hard woods and good craftsmanship. It does look good and feels substantial. However I was looking online and saw Walmart had something by Chatham. Don't take this the wrong way but is this the same Chatham?? I am surprised to see a company that a local furniture store places in its upper tier to be producing furniture to be sold at Walmart. Even if it is I will probably still buy it because it looked superior to a lot of the other stuff. I am one to buy items that I feel are better crafted (I bought two Hancock and Moore leather sofas that I love) over saving a lot of money and buying a cheaper made product. I do not want something falling apart on me. It does not save me money if I have to replace it in a few years.

It seems to be the same company. It's not really available at your local Walmart, apparently it's Walmart Marketplace.

I have a Chatham Highland Road Desk purchased a couple of years ago. I can not imagine that Wallmart would have this type of furniture. Mine is solid cherry.
