I am planning on ordering a new solid wood Amish made 54" round dining table that will expand when needed. I want to have 6 chairs at the table when it is not expanded. I think that will fit fine.

I don't want all the chairs to match. I would like to have 2 larger captain style chairs, and 4 smaller matching Windsor chairs.

With a round table, would it look okay to have 2 larger captain style chairs directly across from each other with 2 smaller chairs in between them on both sides? On a rectangular farm table or an oval table, this is typical and looks great. But in your mind, would this set up look okay at round table? I just have not seen this arrangement.
