Value of old, inherited table

I've an antique bird's eye maple table that I want to sell.

Not even sure what the style of table is called, so maybe an online pictorial about Identifying what type of table is it would be a good first step. Tried googling a bit... Anyone know a useful source of this info?

I figure with that info, I can google around and get a reasonable sense of what a fair market rate is. Then depending on what I discover, I can either (or both) list it on craigslist or contact some dealers in town to see if they'd be interested.

Any tips or suggestions?

If you post a photo here, perhaps someone can identify the table. Look on the underside of the top for a mark to identify the maker and perhaps a date.
