King Hickory vs. Marshfield sofas

Posted by ninanoire (My Page) on

I'm wavering between purchasing a sofa and chair from King Hickory or Marshfield.

Does anyone have any opinions about the durability and quality of either brand?

The prices and styles are similar, so now it's just a question of which is the better product.

Thanks very much,

Both companies make a good product. Marshfield is made by a company located in Wisconsin. They had focused their merchandising on western styled products such as you might find at a hunting lodge or ski lodge in Aspen, Vail or on a very nice ranch but they now have a much broader mix. It is very well built with a drop in coil unit. I am not certain if the frame is hardwood or hardwood plywood. I think it is a mix of both.
