| I need to have two chairs reupholstered and would like to do leather, Does it make more sense to purchase new leather chairs--meaning does the cost of buying quality leather by the yard and adding that to the labor cost make it prohibitive? I could purchase new leather chairs and re-do the existing ones in fabric for another room.....any thoughts? |

| Leather (real) is not sold by the yard; it's sold by the hide. Sit down before getting a quote on this. Unless it's an extraordinarily good chair to begin with, I'm guessing yes, it's going to be cost prohibitive. |
