Hi there,

New to this board. I am usually on the Kitchens board.

I am looking to buy a leather chair for the family room that's not necessarily the best you can buy, but good furniture that can stand the test of a rambunctious, yet adorable ;) 2 year old.

Anyone heard of Hiatt?

Not particularly. Their warranty is very weak on frame components and cushion cores. "Bolt-On" construction - while is may be fine - is not an industry standard for better upholstery.
