| Hello -
I'm trying to make a desk out of an old wooden door (I got the idea from the designsponge website). My plan is to put a large piece of glass on top. However, the door is not exactly square (it's slightly wider in the middle than on the ends -- by about 1/4"). The guy from the glass shop recommended buying a larger piece of glass that will slightly hang over the ends, but I'm thinking it will look better if the glass is slightly smaller and not sticking out. Any thoughts? Buying the glass is the only pricey part of this project, so I want to get it right. Thanks very much! |
