Help identifying my couch?

Posted by west4me (My Page) on

I have this vintage couch and it is in pretty rough shape right now. I have been working with someone to get it reupholster and it isn't going to be cheap.

I was wondering if anyone can identify it, age, maker? I am trying to determine if it is worth the investment.

I am not really sure, but when it comes to this style of upholstery, you are probably better off getting something new, unless there is some sentimental value to the couch. Otherwise it's really not worth it, you not only looking at re-upholstery but also at changing out the foam. Depending on the age of the sofa, you also have it full of bacteria and who knows what.

Thanks for the advice. The plan was to take to the frame and redo it all. Looking at $1500-$2000 to do it. I love the shape of the couch so we will probably do it. Just can't find anything modern that looks as good with all the Danish Modern stuff we already own.
