I love the Flexsteel Chicago, but can't afford it in all leather. Any opinions (Duane?) on the leather/vinyl combo?

Duane is no longer posting on here unfortunately. I hope that changes at some point. In answer to your question, it is what it is, it is ok if you can't afford better. Flexsteel in general is a good product though.

I've been hesitant to order the leather/vinyl combos, though they certainly are less expensive. If done right, they should be fine in terms of looks and durability, though vinyl will never have the 'hand' or feel of leather. Most car interiors, even on high line cars like Porsche and BMW are leather seating surfaces and the backs / sides are vinyl and they do a pretty good job at it. I think you're be OK on it, but I have no hands-on experience with it in the Flexsteel line. Duane
