The Durham and Crescent look more similar than the Bernhardt so if that is the preferred style, it might be a better choice. It seems to be more reminiscent of old world style (not the right words) with the round feet and detail where the other two have straighter lines and less ornate hardware.

I have a durham armoire and it is a very well built piece of furniture.

We purchased pieces from Durham's Soma line (Queen panel bed, chest, and triple dresser) five years ago and it still looks new (save for a place on one piece where the kids banged it with a toy). We have been very impressed with the construction and finish quality.

All three of these manufacturers make a good product. Personally I think Cresent makes one of the best looking products in the industry and the quality is good as well. It is imported but so are most case good product llines in this price range. Cresent has the clean look of the catalog companies but in my opinion the quality is better at a lower cost.
