Hello all,

We ordered an upholstered headboard online from JC Penney and finally put it together and set it up. It's quite nice and was reasonably priced. This is the link to it:

Anyways, it really has a terrible odor. To be honest with you it smells like manure. We've had an encounter with this before on a lampshade from keywest that was a southwestern type of material shade and seems that over time it also got a manure type smell. I'm wondering if it is a type of glue that is being used. We live in Florida where of course the humidity is quite high, which may cause the glue or whatever material to give off this odor. Has anyone ever had this problem with any furniture products before? I will call JC Penney about it - hopefully they will exchange for something else.
