Floor protector for chair wanted

We have a mexican tile floor. Our wooden chairs have been on a rug for years, I just changed our arrangement and would like the chairs sitting directly on the tile. I have tried the adhesive felt pads on the legs of the chair, they fall off within a week or so. I've seen the tap-in protectors and wondered how they work, will they scratch the tile and what brands are better than others? The mexican tile is not like Florida tile, you have to be careful with the finish.

I used the Magic Sliders for my kitchen chairs but I noticed that after a while they collect dirt and start to scratch the floors. I've also had the felt pads and I sympathize, they don't last long! Hopefully someone knows a better way because I need something for my kitchen chairs!
