Today, my husband bought the Turner poster bed from the Restoration Hardware outlet. He asked the salesperson if the bed was complete, but didn't open all the shrink-wrapped parts to verify. Well, the bed is missing the slats.

Suggestions for a quick fix for this? We're going to need slats with at least one (or more) feet to support the mattress and box spring. There isn't an inset slot for wooden boards. The outlet is an hour and a half roundtrip which we may have to make, but it's too late today. Our room isn't big enough for a king mattress on the floor AND this bed frame. Help!

Moral of story: Double check everything at the outlet even if it means taking apart lots of packaging.
