Metal headboard

For those of you who have a wrought iron or metal headboard --- Do you have any trouble leaning against the headboard when in bed to read a book or watch TV? I'm concerned the metal rungs might feel uncomfortable, even through the pillow. Do your pillows fall through the rungs of the headboard? Wondering if I'm making a wise choice with this type of headboard. Thank you!

KIm you would feel the metal against your head. We actually have a metal headboard but we have some nice shams (pillows sort of the size of regular pillows) behind our sleeping pillows that work well.
