| A while ago I purchased some dining room chairs from a furniture reseller. She said they were Baker chairs and one of the chairs does have the Baker name and Milling Road identification on it. The other chairs do not, and are slightly different from the Baker chair, though without really looking you can't tell. The wood looks the same, the "craftsmanship," etc. Are there companies/people that make replicas of high end furniture? We got a good deal on the chairs so I am happy with them, but curious about where the "fake" chairs might have come from. |
