glass table top replacement

I had a high outdoor table that had an umbrella in it....yes, the wind took it and now I have a table without a top. Any creative ideas on how to replace this? We don't have to spend too much as it is an old set. Thank you in advance.

Not a creative thought but the same thing happened to us some years ago and our insurance paid for it. You may have a deductible and I don't know of course about your home owner's policy but you could look into it and also the cost of replacement by a glass company and see if a solution exists there.

It happened to us a few years back. Went to a glass place and they said it would be cheaper to buy a new table, so we did. Chairs don't match exactly, but it was cheaper!

Contact your furniture manufacturer to ask about glass replacement table tops. If the manufacturer does not sell replacements, the company may be able to recommend a reputable glass shop in your area.
