| A local upscale furniture store went out of business on Saturday. I happened to stop buy Friday and they had maybe 50 or so pieces left. I really liked a Harden, upholstered tub chair. The sticker said it was marked down to $1089 (from $2308)... sales girl said to offer the manager $300. He let me have it for $290.
I realize the prices were probably inflated to make it look like big discounts, but I think I got a great deal on a really nice chair. I have tried to find it online to see what it would normally retail for, but no one lists their prices What do you think? Was it a good buy? |
