Help locating recliners for 6'5' tall husband

Posted by labland (My Page) on

I am trying to replace my old Lazyboy recliners. I have a VERY bad back and must recline, I am 6' tall and my husband is 6'5" tall. They no longer carry the big man recliner. My problem is I must be able to sit in it before I order one. With the onslaught of online stores, which are great, can't just order without trying one out. I live in Southern California.

It is hard to find a. Back that is tall enough, and foot rest long enough!

Try the Lane Sherman Recliner the back is 48"H.

Here is a link that might be useful: Lane Sherman Recliner.

Stickley's Morris chairs do it for us!

Very comfortable for our tall family (5'11" - 6'8").

Thank you both foe your help. The hardest part is finding the footrest portion long enough for our kong legs! Lazy Boy used to have a footrest extension which we always used. I will be looking at both the Lane and Stickley this week.

Any other suggestions? I have found that Best Furniture makes The Beast, which has a foot rest that actually goes about 5" past my feet! Has any one ever thad one?
