| I have small kitchen that I don't have the funds or time to renovate right now, so I am trying to make smaller changes to add more storage. (Please see my thread in the small homes forum for more info).
Long story short, to create more storage/counter space, I was planning on replacing the existing kitchen table (small, round with 4 chairs) with something smaller, possibly even two chair. Its just DH and I for at least the next couple of years, and we do have a dining area next to the living room also. Soo, we are looking at getting a small kitchen table, used mainly for breakfast, and some sort of storage unit that could provide maybe some extra counter space (room for the toaster/coffee maker). I think I can find some sort of storage unit at Home Goods, but I am not having luck finding a small kitchen table. Our kitchen is light grey floors/counters, and oak cabinets. |

| Look at www.braxtonculler.com they have a cute little rattan 2 seater table & chair set--might be called balcony set but can be used inside also. A small moble kitchen island may provide storage & additional work top space or a mobile server may work for you. I get my furnishings through Elite Interiors; they've been great & worthwhile to pass their name along. www.elitefurnituregallery.com 843-449-3588 |
