How do I water proof over a polycrylic)

I just refinished a dining room table and 6 chairs. I just read that the polycrylic water spots bad and since this is a dining room table I am very worried. am i ok or is there something I can do to water proof with out refinishing?

I am sorry to say but if you want to get the better resistance you have to refinish your table with the more water resistant clear coating. PU may be is the best choice for your dining table.
