Need a suggestion for storing outdoor furniture cushions

I have several sets of outdoor furniture and storing 30+ cushions is taking up WAY too much space in my basement. Buying plastic totes for this many cushions is too cost prohibitive. Does anyone have a mice-proof way of storing cushions in an outdoor shed? I heard that rodents don't bother anything that is stored in black plastic bags with dryer sheets. I would suspend the bags on a metal pole. Thank you.
